My name is Erin Carraway, and I have been obese all of my adult life.
I also played competitive athletics in college (Basketball, Track and Field),
then after college, (Rugby, softball and baseball). Even being active,
I was still fat and I have felt guilty about for nearly 3 decades.
My undergraduate degree was in Physical Education at CSULA and my master work in
kinesiology was at CSUN. I stopped in 1994 after the Northridge earthquake with
only my thesis remaining. (Part of the campus was damaged and it was just too
unsettling to return.) I moved on other areas in the fitness industry, but never got thin, until...
I did a lot of research - and while there is NO scientific evidence that being 100 pounds overweight, (or more) is healthy, there is MUCH
contrary information regarding how much weight is too much, and exactly
what the disadvantages are. I changed my way of looking at food, and exercise and 80 pounds later
I am hoping to educate and support everyone out there who wants to lose weight,
and be happy with their body, at whatever weight that is.
As I learned how to eat less fat and sugar and how to move more, I found that it
is easy, healthy, stress free, and yes, I have enjoyed clothes shopping again!
But you will never read here that
you NEED to lose weight, or you HAVE to lose weight. If you want to know more
get my free manual on HOW to lose weight simply and permanently.
Either way, Keep coming back...and keep moving forward.
